Scholars Day 2005 at Wayne State University

Scholars Day is an invitation-only opportunity for Wayne State University's most promising first-year students and their parents to visit our exciting, urban campus for a day of scholarship interviews, tours and lunch.

Every student who attends Scholars Day becomes a Wayne State Scholar and receives a scholarship of $1,500 per year for four years. As a result of the small-group interview and review of a writing sample, as well as grade-point average and test score, some students will receive increased scholarship offers, up to and including four-year, full-tuition Presidential Scholarships.

To be invited to Scholars Day, you must

  • apply and be accepted to Wayne State University
  • send your ACT scores to the university
  • have a high school grade-point average of at least 3.50
  • must be admitted by Jan. 15, 2005

Scholars Day(s) 2005 will be Saturday, Feb. 12; Sunday, Feb. 13; and Saturday, Feb. 19, at a variety of campus venues.
